Two teachers. Two states. Too far away. Two communities coming together. Too much in love to ignore. To the future!
A mutual connection gave us each others' phone numbers. We started calling and texting although we were a state away.
We went on our first in-person date in Phoenix during a teaching convention.
At Trillium Lake with friend Stephan in tow, Caleb asked Haley to marry him. She said yes.
We're excited to celebrate our relationship with our families and friends. We hope you can join us.
Being long distance inspires us to treasure each moment we have together. Over the last few months there have been many weekend trips visiting each other’s home state. Caleb has been introduced to the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, experienced the sensation of Celestial Seasonings, and enjoyed the local pastry shops of Northern Colorado. Haley has encountered the beauty of Mount Hood, tasted local delicacies, shopped in Portland's famous Powell's Books, and was a part of successful escape room teams. We look forward to the future together and the wonderful memories it will provide!
